Laura PINEAU is a French climber from Toulon, specializing in traditional climbing, crack climbing and big wall climbing. She discovered climbing at the age of 17 and quickly developed a passion for a discipline that combines technical skill, commitment and adventure. Within just a few years, she established herself as one of the rising figures in crack climbing, a discipline that remains largely male-dominated.
Among her most remarkable achievements, in 2024 Laura completed the second female ascent of Greenspit (8b+), an iconic route in the Orco Valley, long considered one of the most difficult crack climbs in Europe. In June 2025, together with Kate Kelleghan, she completed the first all-female Yosemite Triple Crown, linking El Capitan, Half Dome and Mount Watkins in 23 hours and 36 minutes.
In 2026, she continued to approach climbing as a field for exploration with Ultra Climbing, an unprecedented challenge undertaken alongside Elsa Ponzo: completing 100 multi-pitch routes across Provence in 43 days, representing nearly 18,000 metres of climbing and more than 690 pitches.
Beyond performance, Laura stands out for her independent, committed and creative approach, driven by curiosity and a constant desire to take on new challenges. A professional climber, producer and entrepreneur, she champions a vision of climbing that goes beyond grades alone, turning every project into an adventure that is as much about the human experience as it is about athletic performance.
