Yanis Debaud is a French ultra-trail athlete with a disability whose journey has been marked by great resilience. A former semi-professional rugby player, his life took a dramatic turn in 2023 after a serious accident affected his sciatic nerve, resulting in paralysis of the eversor and inversor muscles of the foot. Less than a year later, he ran his first marathon before turning to trail running. His journey is driven by a desire to push his limits and a very personal vision of performance.

Alongside his athletic pursuits, Yanis is pursuing a BTS degree to become an orthopedic technician.
This endeavor reflects his own experience and his desire to help others regain a life without limitations.

Between his studies, his training, and his ambitions in ultra-trail running, he embodies a spirit of performance rooted in courage, adaptability, and determination.
