What are RGTA®?

RGTA® (ReGeneraTing Agents) are biomimetics of a molecule essential to tissue regeneration, heparan sulphates. They enable the storage and protection of communication peptides, a central element in the reconstruction of the molecular scaffolding of the Extra-Cellular Matrix (ECM). How do they work and what effects do they have on the skin?

What makes RGTA® technology so innovative is its unique ability to optimise natural regeneration. RGTA® optimises the natural regeneration process by protecting the communication peptides of the Extra-Cellular Matrix: tissues regenerate better by recovering their original function and architecture. Are you a cosmetic product or a medical device?

RGENtec skincare products are cosmetics designed for application on re-epidermized or healthy skin.

What do you mean by ‘based on scientific research’?

The RGTA® technology was invented by the 2 founders of OTR3, Professors Denis Barritault and Jean-Pierre Caruelle, who are renowned biologists and specialists in tissue regeneration. It is covered by over 30 direct or related patents and is featured in more than 200 scientific publications. Therefore, the RGENtec products using this technology are based on extensive scientific research.

As a biomimetic, are you a GMO?

A biomimetic copies and reproduces physical and biological properties. A GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) is associated with an organism that has been modified by genetic engineering techniques (addition, deletion or modification of genes). The RGTA® is therefore nothing like a GMO.

Where are RGENtec products made?

RGENtec products are made in France, in Brittany to be precise.

Can I use RGENtec products all the time?

Yes, absolutely. However, they must be used for the right reasons. If you feel discomfort or pain, you can use our products until the problem is resolved.

For other skin aggressions, we recommend using it immediately and, if necessary, every 3 days / 2 times a week maximum until the problem is resolved.

What is the difference between your products?

Our products are complementary and meet different needs and uses:

After Sport Ritual: this product is designed to maintain the skin of sportsmen and women and preserve its long-term potential, enabling them to continue their physical activity for as long as possible while minimising the impact on their body. This is a light serum, easy to apply. This product is designed to support athletes throughout their development and their efforts.

Shock and Roll: this roll-on product relaxes areas of discomfort thanks to a deep physical massage, and reduces the sensation of immediate pain so that you can return to a ‘normal’ life, even after intense activity and its effects on the body.

Bye-Bye Burn: this product is a soothing and repairing cream, to be applied locally to the area to be treated, which allows for optimal skin repair following common aggressions of sport such as irritation, rubbing, redness, after burns, etc.

Are there any side effects and/or contraindications to RGTA?

There are no known adverse effects or contraindications to RGTA®. Nevertheless, our cosmetic products are intended for use on healthy, re-epidermised skin (closed wounds).

Can I use RGENtec products in combination with other products?

RGENtec® products may be used alongside other products. However, it is advised not to layer these products excessively on the skin.

Why do you talk about « sustained athletic performance »?

The aim of RGENtec products is to repair and regenerate the skin after damage caused by sport: by helping the skin to regenerate as well as possible, they allow sportsmen and women to practise more often, but also for longer as their skin retains fewer traces of previous problems.

Your skin potential is preserved, and so is your athletic potential.

Do RGENtec products improve performance?

No, they are not designed to influence sporting performance.

Do RGENtec products contain doping substances?

No, RGENtec® products do not contain any molecules listed by WADA (the World Anti-Doping Agency).

Are RGENtec products aimed more at professional or amateur athletes?

Our products are aimed at all sportspeople, whether amateurs or professionals. We want them to be able to enjoy their passion in optimum conditions for as long as possible.

Are RGENtec products tested on animals?

No, in accordance with regulations, our products are not tested on animals.

Where can I buy your products?

For the time being, our products are only available for sale on our website www.rgentec.com and at the sporting events we attend.

Where do you deliver?

For the time being, only in France and the European Union.
